The Cat Still Doesn't Like Me

After our lunch at Annie-1, I took my parents for a short walkabout at The Starling. My brother and I had something planned in our heads. There was something we wanted. Something that is very bad for our waistline.

These!

Wahahaha!! Well, actually I started it when I brought two canisters of Salted Egg Potato Chips to his house that morning (purchased a day earlier).

As usual, my brother's cat does not like me very much. Look at it staring daggers at me.

When I got near it, it ran away.

To hide in the drain. Haiz....

Mummy's dispensary.
Back at the house, it was time for my mum and dad to take their supplements.

Supplements and junk food, can't be good, eh?

Soon it was time for dinner and we headed to a nice restaurant at TTDI. That will be in my next post.

  1. Did you try baking the cat a fish cookie?...maybe then it'll (is it a he or a she?) like you better...haha! ^_* Mmmm, I'd like some of those salted egg yolk fish skin also. Oh dear, when your mom travels, she not only have to lug her luggage with her, she has to bring the whole dispensary with her too..whoa! O_o Hmmm, I'm wondering just which nice restaurant in TTDI you're referring to! ;) I'm eager to find out if you liked it :)

  2. Not a fan of cats. Predators! The strays in my area will kill the rats and leave the heads...and the bodies all over my garden. Terrible!!! Not so bad if they will eat them all up.

    1. I have used the trick of leaving mineral water bottles in the garden and it seems to have worked!

  3. Wow! Your brother has a tuxedo cat. Can try to charm it with some cat snacks. I have seen the salted egg snacks at the stall in the Starling Mall and was interested to buy some until I walked near and saw the price I quickly walked away, hahahaha! Kiamsiap! Wow, with all the supplements, may your parents have a long long and prosperous life!

  4. Salted egg potato chips? I never had that before. Must be good!

For now I am indulging in crackers and chips bought from Thailand. Somehow theirs tasted better than what we could find here. Lol.

  5. This post is interesting with the handsome cat, snacks and medicine box!

I can understand why this cat loathes at your sight. Either you look like a Marmaduke Dog or you don't give Free Fish because you are only Sell Fish to me. I never received even a cookie after leaving well thought comments in your blog for so many years but I still don't want to give up. I believe in my prayers and hope! Okay, try rubbing yourself with some Whiskas cat food on your legs like creams and I guarantee all the stray cats will come licking and rubbing you too.

Hey, I like those snacks! Coated with telor masin sure bagus & sedap! This is fattening I know, but who cares? Even that menopaused granny ignored me.

The first thought that hit me when I saw the medicine box was both my late parents. They had a lot too but my mum probably had 70% and when she was cremated, I really saw her bones being yellowish due to the excessive medicine for decades. This is what I was being told about sickly people's weak bones will show after death. I have been using dozens of essential oils to treat my pain and sickness instead so that my ashes will look pure white like vanilla ice cream!

You went to dine right under my nose again without invitation. I hope that you could not find parking again!! Niak! Niak!

    1. Aiyo, you are taking sides with the cat! BTW those are supplements like co-enzyme Q10, vitamins etc and not medication. Both my parents are not on any medication.

    2. I am so glad to hear that the dispensary contains no medicine at all!! This is what I have voiced out earlier that my parents had so much sickness and issues which I suspected that they hardly took any supplements which are important! Hope you are buying more from iHerbs online and watch out for sales!! I am being kept busy now ordering for friends to share freight costs.

  8. What did you do to that poor cat to make it dislike you so? ;-)

  9. Lol! Probably the cat is jealous of you! Now it doesn't get the master's full attention!

    1. Yes, very pricey these things. I think it is attributable to the labor cost more than anything else.
